Definition: Outcome management enables The Detroit Institute for Children to define and use specific indicators to continually measure how well services are leading to the desired results. A successful outcome management program includes a process to measure outcomes plus the use of that information to help manage and improve services and organizational outcomes.

For children currently receiving therapy services at The DIC:

In FY06, of the children who completed their course of rehab, 95% made progress toward or achieved their goals.
